The National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (National DEC) provides national leadership in the development of programs, policies, and services on behalf of children and families who are in the cycle of substance abuse and violence.  Our work also includes administering and advancing programs for the prevention of abuse and neglect, as well as raising public awareness of this critical issue.

Resource Center
The Resource Center provides an online library of research, articles and best practices. We are constantly searching for the latest information to share with practitioners and community members. Additionally, we provide training and technical assistance on a national level to help build our state alliances and communities.

State Alliances
National DEC is committed to building and sustaining a network of state alliances.  We provide national leadership, strategic planning, training and technical assistance to our alliances.

National Conference
Since 2004, National DEC has proudly hosted an annual national conference where both practitioners and community members can hear from the nation’s experts on substance abuse and child abuse. The national conference offers people a way to learn more about the issue, network with peers and continue their professional development.
